Delete your Boorista account

Delete it yourself, in the app

1. Open Boorista and go to Account.
2. Scroll to Delete my account.
3. Type DELETE to confirm.

It happens straight away: your account, taste profile and brews are erased and you are signed out. Nothing is kept. If you want a copy first, use Account → Export my data, which gives you everything as a JSON file.

Or ask us to do it

1. Email [email protected] from the email address you sign in with.
2. Use the subject line "Delete my account". You don't need to say why.
3. We'll confirm it's you, then delete your account within 30 days and email you when it's done.

What is deleted

Your account (email, name, password and profile photo), your taste profile, kit, diet, allergies and settings, every brew, rating and tasting note, your hexed drinks, and your push-notification token. Backups are overwritten within 14 days.

What is kept, and for how long

A record that you asked and when we deleted your account (your email address and the dates), for up to one year, to show we did it. Security logs are kept for at least 180 days and up to one year, as Indian law requires, then deleted. Nothing else.

Only some of your data?

You can change your kit, diet, allergies and settings in the app's Account tab at any time. For a copy of your data, or to delete only part of it, email [email protected]. See the privacy policy for all your rights.
